* L'album est décrit comme d'une grande qualité pop dance, à posséder absolument dans toutes discothèque, qu'on soit fan ou non, rivalisant avec les stars de l'époque telles que Janet Jackson et Whitney Houston, toutes trois ont au moins un album à leur actif étant décrit comme étant « ZE ALBUM !! »
* le visuel de la pochette signée Herb Ritts est l'un des clichés les célèbres de la madone et les emblématiques de sa carrière. On y trouve un lien évident avec le pop-art et Andy Wharol.
