Anecdotes :

La tournée qui suivit est celle considérée comme étant le plus lucrative jamais réalisée pour une artiste féminine à cette époque. La chanteuse battra son propre record trois ans plus tard avec le Sticky and Sweet Tour.

Hung Up affole les foules du monde entier, rendant au passage un vibrant hommage au groupe ABBA dont il est le sampler de « gimme gimme » et devient rapidement -et toujours à l'heure actuelle- l'un des plus gros tube de toute la carrière de Madonna.
